Bound in blue calico bindings, with title "Bolshoi Sovietskii Atlas Mira I" with the insignia of the Soviet Union stamped on top. On the spine is the same title under a five-pointed star with a world map. Maps are full color, various sizes, some double page or larger, each with cover title.
