JSC2007-E-17739 (5 April 2007) --- At the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan, the 14 Soyuz (TMA-10) spacecraft and its booster rolled out to the launch pad on April 5, 2007, for final pre-launch preparations. The Soyuz will blast off on April 7, 2007 (Kazakhstan time) to carry cosmonauts Fyodor N. Yurchikhin, Expedition 15 commander; and Oleg V. Kotov, Soyuz commander and flight engineer, both representing Russia's Federal Space Agency, to the International Space Station for a six-month mission and spaceflight participant Charles Simonyi who will spend approximately 11 days aboard the International Space Station.
