Description:
A Ruyi with three inlays. The Ruyi is sculpted from wood and lacquered with brown paint. The cloud-styled head is decorated with a drifting cloud as background and five bats holding the character Shou, which means long-life in the center. The cloud is silver-inlaid, and the bats and shou are gold-inlaid. The stem's center is shaped into a rectangle with wavy sides, decorated with a crane and rock to symbolize longevity and evergreen. The crane and rock are silver and gold-inlaid. The tip is a square with two indented side, and is decorated with a bird and aster that symbolize longevity of the descendants. The stem's surface is decorated with a pattern of dragon and flowers. The dragon is silver-inlaid and the flowers are gold-inlaid with silver borders. The back is lacquered with brown paint, and in the center, there is a silver-inlaid inscription of six characters, Tongyinshangguanjianji (the production of Tongyinshangguang). The characters are written in shuen-shu (seal character style), and lined up in three columns.
