In 1830 the Massachusetts Legislature required the towns of the state to draw up accurate surveys. In the period of 1830-32, Annin & Smith, Pendleton's, and Senefelder printed these plans. They are some of the earlier examples of American lithographic maps. This cadastral map is without color. Includes references to natural features, roads, rivers, and land ownership. Relief shown by hachures, pictorially, and spot heights.
