In addition, at the back of the book are the most detailed plans,which cover the 13 parts of the capital with street indexes. The work includes 29 unnumbered lithographed plates, including portraits of Peter the Great and Nicolas I, views of St. Petersburg, legends, descriptive text, indexes and 22 hand color plans. Showing buildings, landmarks, fortifications, roads, rivers, bridges, and forests. Bound in full black leather with embossed geometrical ornament on the boarders and title "Plani S. Peterburga" in gilt on front cover and spine.
