C.20. The castle of Craonnelle. Some graves of Poilus. Aug, 1917. Marked by wooden crosses, a few graves of French soldiers fill the right foreground with the remains of castle of Craonnelle's facade in the background. A soldier stands on the right with his helmet removed and looks at the graves. Two soldiers stand on the left near the ruined castle.
