Crashed German anti-aircraft gun
Description:
C.17. A boche anti-air-craft gun upside down. The shells are still in the caison. (Chemin-des-Dames). Aug, 1917. The twisted wreckage of an overturned vehicle lies to the left of a rural dirt road. Four soldiers, at least three of whom are medics, stand on the road around a small cart on which a fifth man lies. They look at the wreckage while another soldier examines it from the opposite side.
