Of the full, final Rockstro system (1877) this flute lacks: (i) lever by which upper C♮ hole may be partially closed by L2 and (ii) small vent-hole connected with upper C♯; it does have the 1877 addition of a large hole connected to the D trill, and cannot therefore be classed as an earlier model; The 1873 addition of a lever for L1 to produce B♮ with L0 removed is on this instrument operated by R1. L0: @I{PL - B; Br B♭. L1: @I{PL - C. L2: @I{A (PP). L3: @I{G♯. L4: @I{G. R1: @I{F (PP); D♯ trill; dup B. R2: @I{E; D trill (opening upper D hole and large dup upper C♯ hole). R3: @I{D; Rockstro F♯. R4: @I{D♯; low C♯; low C roller. Keymount type: rod/pillar; needle springs except for L0 keys (leaf). Keyhead type: cylinder cup, with perforations for L2 and R1.
