Technical description: Wooden shell, lap joined at top with `wavy' pattern of tacks and oval carrying harness ring; wooden counter-hoops; skin heads; rope tensioning with leather buffs. 24-inch heads. Repair History: Tensioning ropes, buffs and heads replacements of 1988; counter-hoop rim damage in places repaired with inserted wood, 1988.
