Shows boundaries, some cities and towns, forts, Indian tribal territory, the old Mexican boundary to California, with detail in upper California, locating San Francisco, Monterey, etc, and the river system in Alta California and Oregon Territory, The region between the Mississippi River and the Rocky Mountains is shown, with the addition of numerous Indian Tribes and Territories and a more advanced depiction of the river system feeding the Mississippi and Missouri Rivers.
