Western sheet only of 2 sheet map titled "Map Of The Yellowstone and Missouri Rivers and Their Tributaries..." (see our #834). The date has been trimmed from the title in the lower left. An owner has backed the map with linen, folded it into dark reddish brown covers 15.5x10 of a commercial map publisher, J.L. Smith, and placed a hand written label "Yellowstone and Missouri Rivers" on the front cover. An asterisk in ms marks the location of the Republic Mine east of Yellowstone Park.

Chicago And New York: Rand, McNally & Co., Map Publishers And Engravers." Includes index to Idaho Chief Cities and the list of Railroads. The number in the list correspond to the number on the map.
