Schoyer, Solomon Covers: United States 1825 Pocket Map   Author Schoyer, Solomon Note We have attributed this to Schoyer (no maker or publisher or engraver is on the map) because it is exactly the same as Schoyer's 1826 map of the same title, except that the Schoyer 1826 map has a large eagle cartouche in Mexico which is not present on this edition. Karpinski lists under 1825 a Schoyer map that may be the same as our 1826, but dated 1825. Folded into dark blue leather covers 14.5x9 with "U. States" in gilt.
