Author
Colton, G.W. & C.B. & Co.
Note
Probably the Colton firm's second to last year of publication. Ristow gives 1892 as the firm's last year, but this map indicates that they were still publishing in 1896. The unusual cover style and address of 312 Broadway is the similar to that of Colton's 1892 "Driving & Wheeling Map of the Country Twenty Five Miles North Of The City Of New York". Outline color by township, with water colored solid blue. The gray cloth covers 16x9 are stamped with "Colton's Road Map Of Staten Island New York. G.W. & C.B. & Co. New York" in black Longitude from City Hall.
