Engraved hand-colored in outline, double-page map of the northwest coast of North America and northeast Asia including the North Pacific Ocean to the Bering Strait and the Kamchatka Peninsula. Alaska shown by a group of islands off the coast of Russia, identified as Isole Alessiane. There is a notation of the Chinese colony of Fou-Sang in the vicinity of Vancouver Island. Map shows political divisions, cities, towns, coastal towns, mountains and rivers. Relief shown by hachures. includes decorative title cartouche and notes.

Engraved hand-colored in outline, double-page map in 12 sheets, with decorative title cartouche and inset map of Bermuda Island. The first edition of Zatta's twelve sheet version of Mitchell's Map of North America, plus three other maps: Il Canada, La Baja D' Hudson, and Le Isole di Terra Nuova e Capo Breton. Zatta's version of Mitchell is not an exact copy: many geographical changes are introduced, and Bermuda is depicted as well as Jamaica, neither of which are shown by Mitchell. Maps showing administrative divisions, settlements, cities, towns, forts, Indian settlements, bridges, canals, mountains and rivers. Relief shown pictorially and by hacures. Includes notations.

Map shows several passages, including Northwest Passage linking the Hudson Bay to the Pacific, also shows Chinese colonies in the west coast of North America. Many Indian tribes noted.
