A later issue of a map first published in 1882 (see our #3966). This copy was "printed expressly for" a Mr. Gates, although our other copy was printed for a railroad. We suspect that Rand McNally printed many "special" issues for companies and individuals who needed a map as part of their advertising. Printed in full color by county. Relief shown by hachures. Prime meridian is Washington, D.C.
