Covers area from Lake Champlain to New Mexico and south to Florida and Texas. Inset map: Carte particuliere des embouchures de la Riviere S. Louis et de la Mobile (i.e., Mississippi Delta area and Mobile Bay). Kohl states this is the mother and main source of all later maps of the Mississippi.
