Owner's signature of J.B. Werner, with his notation "ink line shows timber and prairie parts" with the ink line on the map. See our 1878 edition for an example of cloth covers and index. These pocket maps of the mid to late 1870's also appeared in Cram's New Commercial Atlas of the United States published in 1875 and later in 1878 (see our #4533). Full color.
